PU Leather Trim Construction Detail Case Study
EXACT CONSTRUCTION-SEQUENCE EVIDENCE
These real close-ups document one PU-and-faux-fur trim construction sequence. This page intentionally focuses on workmanship control; it does not present the images as a complete finished-style story where a verified full-garment view is not available.
Real supplied archive images are lightly normalized for web framing, crop and exposure. Any conceptual illustration is labeled directly in its caption.
Why these materials require process control
PU surface finish, backing, stretch and thickness affect needle marks, seam appearance and edge behavior. Faux-fur pile direction, shedding and bulk affect cutting and attachment. For this reason, material confirmation and a construction sample are more reliable than approving only a reference photo.
What we check before bulk
- Material surface, backing, thickness and color against the accepted swatch.
- Fur pile direction, trim width and clean release from the seam.
- Zipper or hardware position, function and reinforcement.
- Topstitching, edge finish, symmetry and visible needle damage.
- Main measurements and garment balance on the completed approved sample.
Claim and correction principle
We inspect finished units individually. If a confirmed manufacturing defect cannot be repaired before release, the affected unit is removed, replaced, credited or deducted according to the written agreement. Material characteristics and agreed tolerances are documented separately from true defects.
