The Suvanna Jacket combines a casual silhouette with artisanal craftsmanship, crafted from 100% organic cotton and adorned with a unique all-over block print. The jacket features raglan sleeves for added comfort and a lightly padded design, perfect for layering. The front placket is open and can be secured with two sets of elegant jersey velvet bow ties. Inside, striped cotton tapes finish the look with a touch of detail.
This jacket showcases traditional Indian block printing, a meticulous handmade technique where wooden blocks—carved from teak, sycamore, and pear—are used to stamp intricate designs onto the fabric. Each block is dipped in color and hand-pressed, creating a distinctive pattern with subtle variations and imperfections that highlight the artistry and uniqueness of the process. With no machines involved, this craft reflects a rich heritage of precision and handwork.
